The C-VISTA (Visual Inspection Software for Technical Applications) imageprocessing software package includes a comprehensive set of graphics andimaging functions easily accessible through the OPEN LOOK graphical userinterface. Although suitable for a wide range of applications, C-VISTAhas been tailored for use in engineering tomography. Dimensional anddensity calibration capabilities are included, and all data is internallyrepresented as 32-bit data for fast and accurate data analysis.Region of interest, range, and threshold tests can be applied to eachdata point, and image processing functions can include or exclude databased on these tests. Statistical, histogram, profile, convolution, FFT,logical, arithmetic, and many more image processing operations areavailable through simple menu selections. C-VISTA has been effectivelyused in NDE, materials and composites research, and dimensional analysisof parts.
